The 13th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2024) was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The event took place at the Expo Centre Sharjah, with the theme ‘Agile Governments… Innovative Communication’. The two-day forum organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau featured over 160 discussions, workshops, and activities led by 250 international experts.
His Highness posed thought-provoking questions to the audience, emphasizing the need for government agility and flexibility in today’s rapidly advancing world. The forum also highlighted the importance of effective communication between governments and citizens in building resilient and sustainable communities.
The opening ceremony showcased global advancements in communication and initiatives to enhance government flexibility. Attendees included high-ranking officials and representatives from various government departments and international media organizations.
