Russian Soldier Kills Two Ukrainians in Bucha for Refusing Drink

Ukrainian law enforcement has gathered enough evidence to charge Russian soldier Valentin Manzyrov with the murder of two civilian men in the Kyiv suburb of Bucha during the full-scale war, as reported by investigative outlet Slidstvo.Info.

Manzyrov denies being in Bucha at the time of the alleged murders. According to the indictment, the suspect is Valentin Aleksandrovich Manzyrov.

The prosecution alleges that Manzyrov, along with other soldiers, controlled a sector of Bucha and shot two civilians after a confrontation. He is a member of the 27th Separate Special Forces Unit Kuzbass of the Russian National Guard.

Manzyrov, 24 years old and from the Republic of Altai, faces trial in absentia in Ukraine. If found guilty, he could receive a prison sentence of 10 to 15 years or possibly life imprisonment.

Despite denying involvement, Manzyrov’s trial highlights the atrocities committed during the ongoing conflict, shedding light on the need for accountability and justice.
