The Public Security Directorate (PSD) is showcasing advanced weapons, equipment, and military missions at the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference SOFEX 2024, inaugurated by His Majesty King Abdullah II. This year’s pavilion features cutting-edge devices and equipment developed by the PSD’s specialized teams, aimed at enhancing security and humanitarian operations for the police, civil defense, and gendarmerie forces.
Brigadier General Mohammad Abbadi, Director of the PSD exhibition, emphasized the alignment of these advancements with modernization efforts to improve public service delivery, in line with His Majesty’s directives. Major-General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah closely monitors the implementation of these directives to enhance the PSD’s capabilities.
Alongside the exhibition, the PSD Museum in Aqaba is open to SOFEX visitors, showcasing historical collections that reflect the evolution of public security in Jordan.
