Harvinder Singh made history by clinching a gold at the Paralympics, becoming the first Indian archer to achieve this feat. He defeated Lukasz Ciszek from Poland in a one-sided final to secure the victory.
Facing adversity from a young age due to a medical condition, Harvinder discovered his passion for archery and went on to achieve success at various championships, including a gold at the Jakarta Asian Para Games.
Supported by his family, Harvinder continued his training during the lockdown and is now pursuing a PhD alongside his sporting career.
