Jordanian companies in the communications and information technology sector are on the brink of seizing lucrative opportunities in the Kazakh market, as stated by Haitham Rawajbeh, the sector’s representative at the Jordan Chamber of Commerce.
During a meeting with Kurmangali Amankosov of the Qazaqstan Investment Corporation, Rawajbeh emphasized the strategic importance of the Kazakh market, positioning it as a gateway to Central Asia.
He highlighted Jordan’s IT sector’s regional leadership and ability to attract global firms to set up regional headquarters in the country, citing its competitiveness and skilled workforce.
Plans for a forthcoming meeting in Kazakhstan to explore collaborations and potential joint ventures were revealed, indicating a mutual interest from both sides in furthering economic ties and digital transformation efforts.
The recent business and investment meeting facilitated by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and the Kazakh Embassy in Amman aimed to enhance trade relations between Jordan and Kazakhstan.
