Open-handed individuals perform incredible acts of kindness for less fortunate individuals in Lagos.

A charitable organization, Open Hands Amazing, led by Dr. Magdalene Agada, distributed cash, food, and medical supplies to residents of Ketu-Alapere, Lagos, to support the less privileged during tough economic times. The initiative aimed to assist underprivileged children, motherless babies, the elderly, and impoverished individuals, benefiting about 1,000 people with free medical screenings, consultations, and prescribed medications.

Expressing the importance of giving back, Agada highlighted the significance of supporting those who cannot afford healthcare. Kingsley Okonta, the outreach team leader, praised Agada’s ongoing efforts and called for more support from well-meaning individuals to help the less fortunate.

Beneficiaries like David Adegoke and Francesca expressed gratitude for the program, emphasizing its impact on the community amidst economic challenges. They commended the organizers for their thoughtful approach and urged others to follow suit in supporting vulnerable populations.

The event underscored the critical need for accessible healthcare in Nigeria, with calls for greater government intervention to address the needs of the poor. Open Hands Amazing plans to extend its outreach to other states to continue aiding those in need.
