Palestinians in Gaza Receive Food Aid as Jordan Calls for Arms Embargo on Israel
In a makeshift displacement camp in Mawasi Khan Yunis, Palestinians received cooked food rations as part of a volunteer initiative. Meanwhile, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has called for a complete arms embargo on the criminal Israeli regime.
Commending the UK for partially suspending arms export licenses to Israel, Safadi urged for a complete weapons embargo on Tel Aviv. He criticized the UK’s indirect involvement in the Israeli genocide of Palestinians and called for more countries to follow suit.
Expressing his views on Twitter, Safadi emphasized the need for real consequences to stop Israeli aggression in Gaza and the West Bank. Despite Jordan’s strategic choice for peace with Israel, the ongoing genocide in Gaza has claimed over 40,800 Palestinian lives since October 2023.
