The Israeli occupation intelligence service summoned Sheikh Akram Sabri, the imam of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, for interrogation after storming his home in occupied Jerusalem and handing him the order.

Sheikh Akram Sabri, the head of the Islamic Authority in Jerusalem and imam of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, was summoned for interrogation after Israeli authorities raided his home. Sabri had previously been banned from entering the mosque for mourning the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. The Israeli occupation police have a history of arresting Sabri.

In a separate incident, illegal Jewish settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque, provoking tensions in the region. Eyewitnesses reported settler tours and Talmudic rituals within the mosque’s courtyards. These events coincide with escalating Israeli government measures to facilitate settler access to Al-Aqsa, sparking condemnation from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and warnings of a potential religious war by Hamas.

Summary: Sheikh Akram Sabri was summoned for interrogation, while illegal Jewish settlers provoked tensions at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, leading to condemnations and warnings of escalation in the region.
