국힘이 성명불상자 고발, 한동훈 윤 대통령 험담 지라시 유포

In a recent turn of events, the main opposition party in South Korea, the People Power Party, has taken a firm stance against the dissemination of false information about their leader, Han Dong-hoon. During a party gathering, an unidentified individual allegedly spread rumors about President Yoon Suk-yeol using profanity mixed with defamation.

The party’s legal advisory committee chairman, Joo Jin-woo, promptly reported this individual to the Seoul Metropolitan Police for violating the Information and Communication Network Act (defamation). Joo emphasized the malicious intent behind spreading fake news to incite political conflicts, reaffirming the party’s commitment to combatting misinformation.

The false information circulated claimed that Han Dong-hoon referred to President Yoon in a derogatory manner and made disparaging remarks about his abilities. However, the party’s chief of staff, Park Jeong-ha, refuted these claims, asserting that Han never made such statements. The People Power Party remains steadfast in its resolve to address and counter malicious rumors and fake news with legal actions.
