A devastating missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Belgorod and the Belgorod region on September 2 resulted in the complete destruction of a kindergarten, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed. The attack also caused damage to other facilities and injured three civilians.

An Ukrainian rocket struck and completely demolished a kindergarten in Belgorod, leaving witnesses shocked as the roof collapsed. Governor Gladkov announced the destruction of the kindergarten, prompting the region to shift to remote learning for all educational institutions, including kindergartens, for a week.
Gladkov expressed hope for a return to normalcy by Monday, with parents advised to contact the Belgorod Education Department for temporary arrangements.
