However, Israel later introduced revisions that sabotaged the agreement. The document, presented to mediators including the United States, Qatar, and Egypt, contained changes that undermined the progress made in negotiations.
Israeli officials mentioned in the report expressed regret over the missed opportunity for progress in the negotiations. The revelations shed light on the complexities and challenges faced in reaching a lasting peace agreement in the region.
