Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Efforts in Al Haouz Post-Earthquake
The reconstruction and rehabilitation of areas affected by the Al Haouz earthquake are progressing positively, following the directives of HM King Mohammed VI, as stated by Government Head Aziz Akhannouch in Rabat. The implementation of the program has seen significant progress in various sectors, with a focus on providing financial assistance, permits, and technical support to affected families.
Over 49,632 housing units are currently under construction, with approximately 55,000 construction permits issued. Financial aid of 20,000 dirhams has been provided to families for the reconstruction of damaged homes, allowing 1,000 families to complete their reconstruction works. The state has ensured all necessary conditions to facilitate the process, demonstrating serious and dynamic efforts from all involved departments.
It is evident that the reconstruction and rehabilitation program in Al Haouz is making significant strides towards restoring normalcy for affected families, thanks to the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders.
