UN’s Francesca Albanese criticizes IDF’s actions in West Bank

United Nations Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese sparked controversy with her recent social media post claiming Israel had no valid claim to self-defense in the West Bank. Just before the post, two attempted terrorist attacks wounded three Israelis in Gush Etzion.

Albanese criticized Israel’s use of self-defense and called the occupation of Palestinian territories unlawful. She insisted that Israel must withdraw from the land, apologize for damages, and respect the territorial integrity of Palestine.
