Albanese urged Israel to withdraw from the occupied territories for genuine security, noting the high tension in the West Bank amid the offensive on Gaza that has led to numerous Palestinian casualties. The International Court of Justice has also declared Israel’s occupation unlawful and called for the evacuation of settlements.
