Terrorists Target Shi’a Muslims in Nigeria

Recent reports from Gaidam Local Government Area in Africa reveal a tragic attack on a school where the Shi’a community gathers for religious activities. The terrorists launched the assault by shooting into the air and subsequently killing three individuals – Muhammad Saleh, Ahmad Abdulrahman, and Abdullahi Adam. Another victim who survived the attack was rushed to a hospital in Nguru town for treatment.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Shi’a Muslims in Nigeria have been targeted by Boko Haram terrorists. In 2014, a similar incident occurred when a suicide bomber claimed the lives of 15 worshippers at a Shi’a religious ceremony in Potiskum town of Yobe State.

It’s crucial to shed light on these continuous acts of violence against the Shi’a community and work towards promoting peace and unity in the region. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
