PEACEFUL PDP WARD CONGRESS IN OGUN STATE
The caretaker chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ogun State, Dada Awoleye, praised the party’s recent ward congress as a successful demonstration of love and unity. He commended the orderliness and maturity displayed by party members across the 236 wards in the state, highlighting their commitment to unseating the APC government in 2027.
Awoleye expressed gratitude for the peaceful conduct of the congress and lauded PDP members for their discipline and readiness to take up leadership roles in Ogun State. The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Solomon Maren, also commended the party for conducting one of the freest and most transparent congresses in its history, emphasizing the importance of unity in politics.
As PDP members came out in large numbers for the ward congress, the atmosphere was peaceful, with winners and losers embracing each other. The successful event bodes well for future congresses and signals a positive direction for the party in Ogun State.
