The U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin and Raytheon a $1.3 billion contract to manufacture Javelin missiles, the largest one-year order for missiles to date. The deal includes the purchase of Javelin man-portable anti-tank missile systems and production support for the U.S. military. Production is expected to increase to 3,960 per year by 2026, with over 4,000 missiles going to Ukraine.
