A 41-year-old man from Greenslopes has been charged with murder after being found at the scene on Kentville Street where a 61-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were discovered deceased.
The accused faces charges of two counts of murder (reckless indifference), as well as two counts each of supplying and possessing dangerous drugs, and is scheduled to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Authorities allege that the suspect failed to contact emergency services and had a prior acquaintance with the victims.
Following the incident, children from the residence were taken into the care of child protection workers, as investigations continue.
