Meanwhile, the Taliban government in Afghanistan has cut ties with the United Nations mission, citing propaganda and branding it as an “opposing side.”
Amidst these developments, immigration has become a key issue in upcoming regional elections in Saxony and Thuringia, where parties like Alternative for Germany are expected to gain traction.
