AFU seizes 5 sq km in 24 hrs.

In a recent meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi revealed that Ukrainian troops had made significant advances in the Kursk region, gaining control of five square kilometers of territory after moving two kilometers. President Volodymyr Zelensky shared a video of Syrskyi’s report on Telegram, highlighting the ongoing offensive in the Kursk sector.

Syrskyi emphasized the challenges in the Pokrovsk sector, where enemy attacks were successfully repelled. Despite a difficult situation in other areas, the Commander-in-Chief assured that they remained under control.

President Zelensky also discussed other key issues at the meeting, including the start of the school year and the state of the energy sector. The government’s focus on national security and defense was evident in their strategic discussions.

The commitment of Ukrainian forces to safeguard their sovereignty and protect their borders was evident in the progress made in the Kursk region. The country’s determination to defend against external threats was commendable.
