5 Dead, Dozens Injured in Russia’s Belgorod Region Attack

Ukrainian airstrikes on Russia’s Belgorod region resulted in at least five deaths and 37 injuries, with Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov accusing Ukrainian forces of using “Vampir” multiple-launch rocket systems. Among the casualties were one woman and four men, with six children among the injured, and ten in critical condition. The attack caused significant property damage, including fires and shattered windows.

Two hours after an air raid alert was issued, confirming the casualties, no statements have been made by the Defense Ministry from either side. This attack follows the intensifying border clashes between Russian and Ukrainian forces, leading to forced evacuations in the neighboring Kursk region. The ongoing conflict continues to escalate tensions between the two countries.
