Ukrainian strikes on the southwestern Belgorod region resulted in one fatality and two injuries, as confirmed by regional authorities. Governor Vyachelsav Gladkov reported on Telegram that the town of Shebekino was targeted, leading to one death and two individuals being hospitalized due to shrapnel wounds. The airstrikes also caused damage to an administrative building.
Russia’s Defense Ministry disclosed that a drone was shot down over Belgorod, with two more drones destroyed in the Bryansk region and three in annexed Crimea. The Belgorod region has faced substantial attacks, prompting the evacuation of residents from border villages. Earlier this month, six civilians were killed in similar assaults.
