Members of Plateau State’s APC chapters are calling on President Bola Tinubu to appoint a minister from the state to fill a vacant position that has been open for over eight months. In a press release issued by Plateau APC Like-Minds, the group highlighted the state’s significant contribution to President Tinubu’s electoral success and emphasized the need for representation in the Federal Executive Council.
The group recommended Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, a former governorship candidate, for the ministerial position, citing his commitment to the party’s ideals and ability to unite the state and party. They also expressed their support for President Tinubu’s vision and promised to work tirelessly for the success of his administration.
Plateau APC Like-Minds reminded President Tinubu of the constitutional provision that mandates each state to have at least one minister in the Federal Executive Council. They urged him to address the current imbalance and ensure that Plateau State is adequately represented in the government.
