Israeli party leader, Yair Golan, called on the opposition to unite and oust Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, citing the critical situation Israel is in. Golan emphasized the need for joint action to hold elections and replace the current government, which he believes is causing harm to the country on various levels.
Despite acknowledging differences among opposition groups, Golan stressed the importance of overcoming these issues to save Israel from the destructive policies of the ruling coalition. He accused the government of adopting violent and radical nationalist stances, urging for a united effort to bring about change.
In response to Golan’s call, opposition leader Yair Lapid expressed readiness to work with all parts of the opposition to overthrow the current government. The Knesset is set to reconvene in mid-October, as Israel continues its offensive in Gaza amid concerns of a humanitarian crisis.
