Another day of relentless Israeli aggression in Gaza has resulted in over 65 Palestinian deaths in Rafah, bringing the total death toll to 40,602 with 93,855 injured since October 7. The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported 68 martyrs and 77 injured in the past 24 hours alone.
Among the casualties were two young girls killed in an airstrike on the Abu Suweirh family home in the Nuseirat refugee camp. The attacks have left victims trapped under rubble, with ambulance and civil defense crews struggling to reach them.
In addition to the attacks in Gaza, a large-scale military operation in the West Bank led to the martyrdom of 17 Palestinians. The European Union’s foreign policy chief expressed concerns over the deteriorating humanitarian situation and the lack of progress in ceasefire efforts.
Israel’s artillery shelling has caused fires near the power plant and multiple casualties, while night raids in Gaza City resulted in at least 8 deaths. The situation remains dire, with pressure mounting on UN organizations to operate effectively in Gaza.
