Negotiation efforts have been stalled due to Netanyahu’s refusal to meet Hamas’ demands which include an immediate and complete ceasefire and withdrawal of Israeli forces to the border areas.
Families of Israeli captives in Gaza breached the fence demanding a prisoner swap with the Palestinian Resistance. They marched from ‘Hostages Square’ in Tel Aviv towards the Gaza fence, led by concerned family members.
Despite facing resistance from Israeli authorities, the families attempted to get as close as possible to their relatives, using loudspeakers to call out for their loved ones held by Hamas in Gaza.
The stalemate in negotiations between Israel and Hamas, with Netanyahu refusing key demands, has hindered progress towards a prisoner exchange and ceasefire.
Tragic Reality
The ongoing conflict has resulted in over 40,000 Palestinian casualties, with many civilians, including women and children, losing their lives. The dire situation has led to an acute famine, displacing nearly two million people.
The devastating consequences of the Israeli aggression call for urgent international intervention to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
