During a meeting with Turkmenistan’s National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow in Tehran, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed the potential for further cooperation between the two nations, especially under the new administration of President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The Leader highlighted joint projects like a highway and gas pipeline, stressing the importance of Iranian involvement. Berdimuhamedow commended the late President Ebrahim Raeisi’s efforts in enhancing Iran-Turkmenistan relations and affirmed a commitment to peaceful collaboration.
The Turkmen leader’s visit resulted in the signing of several cooperation agreements in areas such as gas and customs. Berdimuhamedow’s visit reinforces the message of friendship and cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan.
