The National Assembly Ethics Committee has disclosed the assets of 147 newly registered members of the 22nd National Assembly. The reported assets ranged from over 50 billion won to less than 5 billion won, with an average declared amount of 26.8 billion won. Notably, Rep. Go Dong-jin of the People Power Party reported the highest amount, including a luxury residential property, Ferrari, and Samsung Electronics stock, totaling over 333 billion won.

Other members, including medical professionals and former journalists, also reported substantial assets, with some highlighting significant increases in their wealth since the previous election. Interestingly, some lawmakers reported owning virtual assets, with Rep. Lee Jun-seok declaring holdings in various cryptocurrencies.

However, some lawmakers also reported negative net assets due to significant debts. Despite the diverse asset profiles, the disclosure provides transparency into the financial status of elected officials in South Korea.
