Yagba Action Group Collaborates with Senator Karimi to Address Developmental Challenges
The Yagba Action Group (YAG), comprising professionals and technocrats from Yagba local council areas in Kogi State, recently met with Senator Sunday Karimi to discuss critical issues affecting the constituency.
Delegates from Yagba West, Yagba East, and Mopamuro Councils engaged with the legislator at his Abuja residence. They deliberated on pressing challenges such as road infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, education, empowerment, and security, aiming to uplift living standards.
The group highlighted the need for better infrastructure, especially in federal roads and educational facilities. They commended efforts towards addressing issues like kidnapping and banditry, as well as initiatives for student bursaries and small-scale business funding.
YAG acknowledged Senator Karimi’s legislative contributions and stressed the importance of more bills and motions aligned with citizens’ needs. They proposed involving stakeholders through Town Hall Meetings for bill analysis and input.
Satisfied with the Senator’s performance, YAG expressed readiness to collaborate for socio-economic improvement in the district.
Senator Karimi appreciated the group’s visit, promising to address their concerns and collaborate with other stakeholders for enhanced governance.
