Deadly Wave of Violence Strikes Balochistan
On Monday, Balochistan was rocked by a series of violent attacks that claimed more than 50 lives, including 23 passengers in Musakhail. Security forces responded by neutralizing 21 terrorists and injuring several others.
The attacks, which started late Sunday night, targeted Levies and police stations in Mastung, Kalat, Pasni, and Suntsar, resulting in multiple casualties. Explosions and grenade attacks were reported in several other areas as well.
Several security personnel lost their lives, with four Levies personnel among the casualties. The Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attacks, which were described as one of the worst shootings in the region in recent years.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that 14 soldiers sacrificed their lives while responding to the attacks, and 21 terrorists were eliminated. The government has vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice and continue efforts to eradicate terrorism.

Political leaders, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari, expressed deep sorrow over the attacks. They emphasized the need to provide medical assistance to the wounded and punish those responsible for the violence.
