Exploring Armenia: “Step to Home” Program Concludes
The “Step to Home” educational program organized by the Office of the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs has wrapped up, hosting 600 Diaspora Armenian youths aged 13-18 from 20 countries in 6 stages. The goal of the program, as highlighted by Chief Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan, is to strengthen connections with the homeland and preserve national identity among young Armenians living abroad.
Addressing the participants at the closing ceremony of the 6th stage, Sinanyan expressed his hopes for the participants to have discovered Armenia in a new light and formed lasting friendships during the program. The Armenian government covers all expenses for the Armenian leg of the project, showcasing its commitment to fostering ties with the Diaspora.
“Step to Home” is a pivotal annual program organized by our office, and we look forward to the continued impact it will have on the participants and their connection to Armenia,” added Sinanyan.
