Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Calls for Federal Cabinet Meeting to Address Current Challenges
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for a federal cabinet meeting to address the current political and economic challenges facing Pakistan. The meeting, scheduled for Tuesday at 11 am, will focus on proposals from various departments and strategies to maintain stability in the country.
The agenda includes a thorough review of the political situation, law and order conditions, and economic challenges. The cabinet is expected to discuss measures to address these issues and enhance economic resilience.
During the last meeting, the federal cabinet approved the establishment of the Prime Minister’s Skills Development Company and signed an MoU with Uzbekistan for e-commerce cooperation. The cabinet also approved the transfer of operations of King Hamad University of Nursing to the National University of Medical Sciences.
Furthermore, the cabinet was briefed on the recent Supreme Court verdict in the Mubarak Sani case, with the Attorney General set to present arguments based on input from ulema and the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Law and Justice.
This meeting comes at a critical time as the government navigates complex political and economic landscapes, demonstrating a commitment to addressing challenges and promoting sustainable development.
