30 students were injured in a school in Sana’a Governorate due to an explosion of an unexploded ordnance shell left behind by the Saudi-led coalition. The Director General of Sanaa Governorate Police, Brigadier General Yahya Al-Moayadi, confirmed the incident and visited the injured students at the hospital.
Brigadier General Al-Moayadi placed blame on the coalition for this tragedy as well as other similar incidents in Sanaa Governorate and other regions. The impact of such remnants of war continues to harm innocent civilians, especially children who are attending schools.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing conflict in Yemen and the devastating effects it has on the lives of the people. It highlights the urgent need for peace and stability in the region to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals, especially the most vulnerable members of society.
