SANAA, Aug. 26 (YPA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Sanaa Government, Jamal Amer, expressed Sanaa’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with United Nations agencies and international organizations in Yemen, providing necessary facilities for their work. This assurance was given during a meeting with UNICEF’s Resident Representative, Peter Ho Kenz.
Amer emphasized the importance of respecting the social and cultural context of the Yemeni people in projects undertaken by international organizations in the country.
In return, the UNICEF representative presented a comprehensive report on the organization’s significant contributions to health, education, and social protection for children and women in Yemen.
Yemen looks forward to continued collaboration and support from international partners to uplift its communities and address pressing humanitarian needs.
