Hezbollah Strikes Back: 320 Rockets Launched into Israel
Lebanon’s Hezbollah made a bold statement on Sunday by launching 320 rockets deep into Israel in retaliation for the assassination of their leader, Fuad Shukur. The Israeli army had earlier carried out a preemptive strike in southern Lebanon, claiming to have prevented Hezbollah from launching an attack.
In a successful first stage of their response, Hezbollah targeted Israeli barracks and sites to send offensive drones towards key locations within Israel. The group proudly announced that the drones had reached their targets as planned, with over 320 Katyusha rockets hitting enemy positions.
Hezbollah specifically targeted 11 Israeli military sites, including bases and camps in northern Israel, while also coordinating attacks on key military sites and the Iron Dome missile defense systems in northern occupied Palestine.
As tensions escalate, Israeli authorities have halted flights to and from Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv. The situation remains volatile as both sides brace for further confrontation.
