Ola Founder Bhavish Aggarwal is leading India’s tech transition with a focus on AI to create future jobs. In a recent interview, he emphasized the role of the private sector in job creation and highlighted the government’s responsibility in creating an enabling environment.
Aggarwal also expressed support for the government’s EV policy and emphasized the importance of attracting global investment. He stressed the need for India to lead in AI technology development, citing the launch of AI start-up Krutrim as an example.
Despite concerns about AI replacing jobs, Aggarwal believes it will amplify productivity and create new opportunities. He urged India to become experts in future technologies to secure leadership in global markets.
Aggarwal also discussed Ola Electric’s mission to establish India as a global EV hub and the company’s focus on building products tailored to Indian needs. He underlined the private sector’s crucial role in job creation and called for more efforts from all stakeholders.
