Ukraine’s President Unveils New Drone Missile to Strike Back at Russia
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy showcased a new Ukrainian “drone missile” called Palianytsia, boasting of its speed and power to retaliate against Russia. He described Putin as a “sick old man from Red Square” and criticized Moscow’s aggression. The weapon was used for a successful strike on a target in Russia. Zelenskiy promoted his top commander after Ukraine’s incursion into Russia’s Kursk region, capturing over 90 settlements.
“Our enemy will know the Ukrainian way for retaliation – worthy, symmetrical, long-ranged,” Zelenskiy stated. Amid Independence Day celebrations, he ratified the Rome Statute and signed legislation banning Russian-linked religious groups. Both Ukraine and Russia exchanged 115 prisoners of war.
