Volunteers Fund ‘Okhtyrka’ Rifles for Snipers on Independence Day

Volunteers Yury Chornomorets and Dmytro Batishchev delivered a sniper system to the National Guard snipers in honor of Independence Day. The RUGER .338 caliber rifle, named after the hero city of Okhtyrka, will enhance the combat capabilities of the 27th Pechersk Brigade. Commander Serhiy Pozniak, a prominent Ukrainian sniper, received the rifle and emphasized the importance of sniper work in achieving victory.

Chornomorets and Batishchev’s Vengeance Guard project aims to equip Ukrainian military with necessary tools, including the crowdfunded sniper system. They have provided 300 sniper systems to Ukrainian Defense Forces fighters and continue to work towards maintaining an advantage over Russian troops in the sniper domain.

The initiative has already received support from 23 cities and one village in Ukraine, showcasing a united effort in equipping the military. The project’s success lies in community fundraising efforts to provide essential accessories for long-range rifles.

As part of the People’s Vengeance Guard, a new fundraiser is underway for a sniper rifle named after the city of Lviv. Donations can be made via PayPal to support Ukrainian snipers in their crucial role in defending the country.
