Charles Obina: The Adungu Ambassador
Charles Obina, a 29-year-old musician from northern Uganda, is known as the “Adungu ambassador” for his exceptional skills in playing the traditional nine-10 stringed Adungu. Growing up in a family of musicians, Obina inherited his talents from his father and has dedicated himself to promoting and playing this unique musical instrument.
His journey from a young Adungu player to the founder of Adungu Revolution, a fusion music band in Uganda, showcases his dedication to preserving his cultural heritage.
