Israeli Survey Reveals Dissatisfaction with Netanyahu’s Handling of Hezbollah Conflict
Recent survey results released by Israel’s Channel 12 show that three-fourths of Israelis believe Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is managing the conflict with Lebanon’s Hezbollah “very poorly.” The survey also highlights concerns over Netanyahu’s motives in handling the hostage issue.
According to the survey, 75% of Israelis rated the government’s management of the conflict as “very poor,” while only 18% believe it is being handled well. Fears of a full-fledged war between Israel and Hezbollah have also escalated following recent hostilities.
Additionally, the survey indicates that a majority of Israelis support a deal with Hamas to secure the return of Israeli hostages in Gaza, while suspicions remain regarding Netanyahu’s political motivations in handling the issue.
With calls for early elections growing and ongoing negotiations for a possible cease-fire and prisoner exchange, the region remains tense. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing situation.
