All roads lead to Kaduna for the start of the 2024 edition of the Kaduna International Film Festival (KADIFF). The festival will open on Tuesday, August 27 and run till August 31 in Kaduna. Founder of the yearly festival, Audu Israel, disclosed that the festival would continue in spite of the near lack of sponsorship, highlighting the rich culture of the region and its creative industry.

The festival’s theme, ‘Cinema and cultural exchange’, will showcase films from around the globe, promoting peace, cultural understanding, and inclusivity. The opening film, ‘Kaka’ by Prince Aboki, and closing film, ‘Kamsi’ by Uzo Okpechi, were carefully selected for their cultural relevance and cinematic quality.

Kaduna is safe and ready to host filmmakers, industry professionals, and attendees for the 7th edition of KADIFF. The support from government officials, sponsors, partners, and volunteers has been invaluable in bringing the festival to life. As the festival kicks off, audiences are invited to immerse themselves in the world of film, storytelling, and cultural exchange.
