Israeli forces destroy mosques and desecrate Holy Qurans in Gaza

The recent footage aired by Al Jazeera has shed light on the egregious acts committed by Israeli soldiers in Gaza. From tearing and burning copies of the Holy Quran to demolishing historic mosques like “Khan Younis” and “Al-Omari,” the Muslim community worldwide is left grieving and angry.

Reports indicate that Israeli forces have destroyed 609 mosques and partially damaged 211 others, along with demolishing three churches. Despite warnings from international organizations, civilian infrastructure, including religious sites, continues to be targeted.

The ongoing Gaza war has claimed over 40,000 lives in the past ten months, with a significant number being women and children. The media office of the Gaza government has confirmed the destruction of 380 mosques and 3 churches, some dating back over a thousand years.

The desecration and destruction of these sacred places have sparked outrage and condemnation globally, highlighting the need for urgent action to protect religious freedom and uphold human rights.
