Israeli airstrikes in Syria eliminate three pro-Iranian fighters

Israel conducted air strikes on Syria, targeting positions of the army and Hezbollah, resulting in the deaths of three Iran-backed fighters and injuries to 10 others, according to a war monitor.

The strikes hit makeshift petrol stations linked to Hezbollah in Homs and weapons depots in Hama, as well as two Syrian army sites.

The Syrian defense ministry reported seven civilian injuries and blamed Israel for the attack, which occurred in the central region.

Following ongoing tensions and conflicts in Syria, Israel has been actively conducting strikes, with a surge in raids after incidents like the Hamas attack on Israel and the killing of Iranian generals.

While Israel rarely comments on specific strikes, it has expressed its stance against Iran’s expanding presence in the region, leading to continuous military actions.
