India has generously gifted four BHISHM Cubes, a mobile hospital, to Ukraine to assist in providing emergency medical care. Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented these Cubes to the Government of Ukraine, which was met with gratitude from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The BHISHM Cubes are equipped with medicines and equipment for various medical situations, including the capability to handle surgeries and diverse medical cases, generate power, and oxygen. Additionally, a team of experts has been dispatched from India to provide training on operating the Cubes.
During Modi’s visit to Ukraine, several agreements were signed to enhance cooperation in areas like defense, trade, pharmaceuticals, green energy, and education. Zelenskyy suggested India as a potential host for the second Ukraine peace summit, showing mutual interest in strengthening ties. Modi expressed India’s readiness to contribute actively to restoring peace in Ukraine. This gesture signifies India’s commitment to humanitarian assistance and solidarity with Ukraine during challenging times.
