A recent post on X by Lazzarini revealed the alarming increase in the risk of family separation in Gaza due to ongoing displacements, arrests, and casualties. Around 17,000 children are estimated to be unaccompanied or separated from their parents, with the actual numbers possibly even higher. The conflict and forced displacement have hindered efforts to reunite these children with their families.
Following the tragic deaths of six children in Gaza, Save the Children UK called for an arms embargo on Israel, condemning the violence faced by Palestinian children. The organization urged the British government to cease arms sales to Israel to prevent further violations of international humanitarian law.
Since October 7, the Israeli regime has killed over 40,300 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and injured 93,356 individuals. The situation in Gaza continues to be dire, emphasizing the urgent need for international intervention to protect innocent lives.
