Azerbaijan prez’s rep meets Vietnam VP

Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan for Special Assignments, Elchin Amirbayov, met with Vietnam’s Vice President, Vo Thi Anh Xuan, in Hanoi. Vice President Vo Thi Anh expressed satisfaction with the positive direction of bilateral relations, highlighting cooperation in various fields and the progress in economic and trade ties.

Vo Thi Anh emphasized the importance of education as a key collaboration area, noting Azerbaijan’s role in training Vietnamese personnel. She also underlined the significance of continued cooperation in cultural exchanges and mutual support in regional and global forums.

Elchin Amirbayov expressed a desire to strengthen the traditional friendship between Azerbaijan and Vietnam, especially in economy, trade, investment, and culture. He highlighted education and proposed expanding cooperation in the oil and gas sector.

Both sides agreed to further develop bilateral ties, including in politics, economy, education, and expertise exchange in bomb clearance. The meeting reflected the commitment of both nations to enhancing their relationship across various sectors.
