Donald Trump took to his social media platform, TruthSocial, to accuse Vice President Kamala Harris of causing the October 7th massacre. He alleged that Harris played a role in the attack and criticized her for not supporting Israel.
Trump’s comments come after he previously stated that any Jewish person voting for Harris should have their “head examined.” He also criticized Harris for not attending Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech at the US Congress, which received backlash from Republicans.
House Speaker Mike Johnson and Representative Jim J. both condemned Harris for her actions towards Netanyahu. Trump further attacked Harris for enabling tyrants and criticized her policies on immigration and violent crime.
Trump also posted a graphic highlighting what he called “Biden-Harris accomplishments,” blaming the current administration for conflicts such as the Israel-Hamas war and the Russia-Ukraine war. However, data from the Council on Criminal Justice indicated that violent crime rates had not significantly increased under the Biden-Harris administration.
