Justice College signs agreements to modernize justice training.

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development has recently signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various institutions, marking a significant move towards repositioning and rebranding the BMJC to address modern challenges in fighting crime and corruption. Director-general advocate Doc Mashabane expressed confidence in strengthening the administration of justice through strategic collaborations and reinvestment in societal needs.

These MoUs will facilitate joint research initiatives on the impact of technological advancements on crime and justice, leading to the development of innovative strategies for crime prevention and prosecution. The department aims to enhance the efficiency of the justice system and increase public confidence in upholding the rule of law.

By partnering with these institutions, the BMJC is dedicated to advancing justice delivery in South Africa and equipping the justice system to handle modern complexities effectively. The formalization of these MoUs is a significant milestone in transforming the BMJC and aligning it with the department’s broader objectives.
