JACOBABAD: Pakistan Air Force Aircraft Brings Bodies of Pilgrims
A special aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force arrived at Shahbaz Airbase in Jacobabad, bringing the bodies of 28 Pakistani pilgrims and 16 injured victims of a tragic bus accident in Yazd, Iran. The bodies will be transported to their hometowns via ambulances, while the injured are receiving treatment at Chandka Hospital in Larkana.
The incident, which occurred in Yazd, claimed the lives of 28 Pakistani pilgrims who were heading to Iraq for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The bus overturned due to a suspected brake failure, leaving 23 others injured, with 14 in critical condition. Pakistani authorities swiftly dispatched an aircraft to Tehran to repatriate the bodies of the deceased and assist the injured.
Dr. Niaz Daher, the Medical Superintendent of Chandka Hospital, reassured that the hospital is equipped to care for the injured victims. The families of the deceased expressed gratitude to various officials for their efforts in facilitating the return of their loved ones. Following funeral prayers at Shahbaz Airbase, the bodies will be transported to their hometowns in a convoy of ambulances.
