Vice President Ivica Dacic revealed a tragic incident this morning as Border Authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported an overturned boat in the Drina River, carrying illegal migrants from Serbia. The migrants attempted to cross between Drlača in Ljubovija and Orlica in Zvornik.
Upon receiving the distressing news, the Border Police and Emergency Services rushed to the site for immediate action. The search operation is underway along the river and coast.
Reports suggest that 25 individuals were onboard, with 18 rescued so far, including three children. The police are joined by other units like the Border Police Station and the Diving Unit of the Gendarmerie in their efforts to locate the missing migrants.
